The Blue Food Futures Program will host a dynamic session to explore our strategic vision and the critical link between science and policy. Held on the Stanford campus from March 19 – 20, 2026, this in-person workshop will bring together leading blue food experts, offer lightning talks from our past and present Blue Food Future Fellows, and help shape the vision of our scientific working groups.

March 19, 2026

On day 1, attendees will hear a strategic overview of the program, attend lightning talks, and participate in interactive working group sessions to define key questions and workshop goals.

A recording of the keynote and lightning talks will be made available after the workshop.

March 20, 2026

On day 2, participants will share highlights from their group sessions, brainstorm shared research priorities, and outline clear action steps for the program’s next phase.
