Every year, the World Economic Forum convenes the world’s foremost leaders for an Annual Meeting in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland. This year the Annual Meeting took place between 22-26 May, 2022 and was convened under the theme ‘Working Together, Restoring Trust.’ Participants included the chief executives and chairs of partner and member companies, political leaders and heads of international organizations, civil society representatives, academic experts, youth leaders and key figures from the worlds of art, culture, science and technology.

Blue Foods for a Sustainable Future | Monday 23 May 2022 | 16:00 – 16:45 CEST

Blue foods represent a promising solution to the challenge of sustainably feeding a growing world population, while also making positive contributions to food security, nutrition, economic growth and jobs.

What policies and partnerships are needed to realize the potential for producing aquatic foods sustainably? A livestreamed panel featured Jim Leape (BFA Core Team, Co-Director of Stanford Center for Ocean Solutions) and Jane Nelson (Director, Corporate Responsibility Initiative, Harvard Kennedy School of Government) and was moderated by Magdalena Skipper (Editor-in-Chief, Nature).
